WHO WE ARE
The education of women holds paramount importance in society. Women play vital roles as mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters. A mother’s nurturing is the foundation of a good upbringing. Islam grants women a significant and esteemed position in society. To address societal issues effectively, we must acknowledge the critical role of women. Recognizing this essential truth led to the inception of the Al Noor Welfare Foundation.
Several years ago, a research study titled “Analysis of Character Building in the Islamic Institutes of Pakistan” revealed results that were both distressing and contrary to the true teachings of Islam. This realization served as the catalyst for establishing the Al Noor Welfare Foundation in 1996. The foundation’s mission is to promote character building among Muslim youth, particularly women, guided by the principles of the Quran and Sunnah.
Scholar Nighat Hashmi, driven by genuine concern for humanity, committed to conveying the true message of Islam. She firmly believes that Islam offers solutions to the world’s problems. Her compassion and dedication highlighted the necessity for a welfare organization focused on education and research, benefiting society at large.
Al Noor Welfare Foundation is a reputable and well-established organization with institutes in numerous cities. It provides both Islamic and contemporary education, striving to create a positive impact on women of all ages. Al Noor’s goal is to cultivate a peaceful and healthy environment, nurturing future generations to become practicing and contributing members of society, fulfilling their responsibilities in the best possible manner.
